Following the multiple Ontario announcements about the re-opening of the DriveTest Centres, I wrote to the Minister of Transportation, Caroline Mulroney, to share the concerns of many residents of Mushkegowuk-James Bay about the under-staffed and over-burdened Kapuskasing/Hearst DriveTest.
The Minister needs to understand that small and rural areas in Northern Ontario are not served by public transit system as in the Greater Toronto Area. People need to get behind the wheel to go to work, to school, to visit a loved one, etc.
